About Me
My Story
My career actually began far from where I am today — in IT, back in 2000. For nearly two decades, I built a career in technology, and it taught me a lot about discipline, problem-solving, and working under pressure. But somewhere along the way, I started asking myself a harder question: was this the life I actually wanted, or just the one I'd gotten good at?
In 2019, I started exploring the mutual fund distribution space alongside my IT career — not as an escape, but as an experiment. I wanted to see if it was something I could genuinely be good at, and more importantly, something that could give me what years in IT hadn't: stability and flexibility. For seven years, I lived a dual life — client conversations around project deadlines, learning the financial services space on weekends, testing whether this could actually work. On 1st April 2026, I made it official and left IT completely to focus on this full-time, as an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor.
That decision wasn't made lightly, and it wasn't made overnight. But it was made with clarity: I wanted work that respected my time as much as it respected my clients' money. “Helping People To Take Constructive Financial Decisions” isn't a tagline I chose for how it sounds — it's what I actually try to do in every conversation. It means not pushing a product because it pays well, not overwhelming someone with jargon to sound smart, and not assuming I know what's best for someone's life better than they do. It means sitting with people, understanding what stability actually looks like for them, and helping them navigate their mutual fund choices with clarity — one honest, constructive conversation at a time. In many ways, that's exactly what I was looking for myself.

My Philosophy
A few years ago, a client came to me ready to move a meaningful portion of their portfolio into a mutual fund scheme I distribute. On paper it looked fine — solid past returns, a category that matched their stated risk profile, and a commission structure that would have been comfortable for me.
I ran the numbers against what they already held, their time horizon, and the tax implications of switching. The cleaner fit was a direct plan from a different AMC that I do not distribute. It carried a lower expense ratio, avoided an unnecessary exit load on their existing units, and aligned better with the rest of their allocation.
I told them so, walked them through the comparison, and helped them execute the switch themselves. They still work with me on the rest of their portfolio. That conversation did more for the relationship than any product pitch could have.
I am not here to maximise my own revenue in every meeting. I am here to help people take constructive financial decisions — even when the best decision for them is not the one that pays me.
